Our F2 children had a very busy week last week.
The children have also had a police visit last week as we were learning about the emergency services and why they are important to us as well as how they keep us safe! The children have been learning their home addresses and what to do in the case of an emergency. They got to explore the different equipment that a police officer carries and they have loved role playing emergency services in the role play areas of the classroom.
They also had a visit from the fire service and the children enjoyed learning about how the fire engine works, what tools they carry to rescue those in danger and how powerful the hose is! Finally, the children have also been designing and creating their junk model cars using boxes, materials and paint.
